The Band programs at Fifer Middle School are available
to all students who wish to study a band instrument. We do not start
beginners in our programs so all students must be proficient on their
instrument for their grade level. Students in the seventh grade should be
able to play the exercises in the middle of our band method book,
Essential Elements 2000, Book II. 8th Grade students should
be able to start Essential Elements 2000, Book III. All of our band
method books can be purchased from our local music store.
The bands at Fifer Middle
School are performing ensembles and present several programs each year. Here
