Sports Schedule

Athletic eligibility:  Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) regulations are the final authority regarding eligibility for any Fifer athletic programs (refer to http://www.doe.state.de.us/diaasite/).

•   Students who turn 15 years old on or after June 15^th in the summer before their 8^th grade year shall be eligible for all sports during that year.

•   Students in the 6^th grade may participate in any interscholastic sport EXCEPT football (as per state regulation).

•   A student is not eligible if he/she does not pass 4 classes that meet each day.

•   A student is not eligible if he/she fails more than 2 of the 4 major subjects (English, math, science, social studies).

•   A student MUST have a completed physical examination form dated on or after May 1^st of the current year.

Physical form
All physical forms for the 2009-2010 school year must be dated May 1, 2009 or after in order to participate.
