A
Message from the Principal: |
Welcome to the 2012-2013
school year at Fred Fifer III Middle School.
The same high expectations for student learning,
behavior, and citizenship will continue. We
will emphasize hard work and determination.
During this past summer, teachers attended
professional development classes and have been
refining their skills to even better meet the
needs of every student under RTTT and NCLB. We
warmly invite all of you to join us in our
endeavors to increase student achievement in
whatever way you can. We know that with you as
our active partners: students at Fred Fifer III
Middle School will emerge as winners!
Our mission is clear and
vital: Our school is committed to promoting,
enhancing and sustaining students’ academic
achievement in a safe learning environment and
to assist our community of learners in
developing the skills to become responsible,
good citizens.
Together we have “high
expectations for students’ learning, a
determination to be successful, and plans for
many celebrations to acknowledge our
accomplishments so every child is a winner!”
Our school exemplifies the
positive results that occur when staff, parents,
students, and the community work together.
Teaching, learning, changing, improving--we each
do all we can. We focus on the positive and work
with integrity. We believe that communication
between home and school is vital to our success.
Copies of the 2012-2013
handbooks will be given to each student on the
first day of school and a copy of the handbook
is also provided online to clarify the
Districts’ and school’s policies and procedures
to you, as you acquaint yourself with the
school. Please keep this handbook in a safe
place so that you may refer to it throughout the
year.
Dr. Jessilene E.
